{"id":2089,"date":"2018-09-10T14:11:38","date_gmt":"2018-09-10T14:11:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/capture.ccio.us\/?p=2089"},"modified":"2018-09-10T15:13:42","modified_gmt":"2018-09-10T15:13:42","slug":"use-case-ai-assists-orchestrating-supply-chain-management","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/capture.club\/portal\/2018\/09\/10\/use-case-ai-assists-orchestrating-supply-chain-management\/","title":{"rendered":"Use Case: AI Assists in Orchestrating Supply Chain Management"},"content":{"rendered":"<body><p><\/p>Orchestrating supply chain management via ML\/PA is something Capture Club understands quite well.\u00a0 In 2001, we were involved with a bleeding-edge effort to automate Trading Partner and Trading Agreement negotiations.\u00a0 We utilized both Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics to create a system wherein you could define the parameters of your company and it\u2019s trading partner\/agreement rules and constraints. From there, the system could compare these with other such definitions to insure compatibility, all the while engaging human users in the process, but only to sign off on the generated contract.\u00a0 It was a remarkable system, and very much ahead of it\u2019s time on a variety of technological levels.\n<blockquote><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2090 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/capture.ccio.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/9979_Supply_chain_management.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"494\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>My point with the opaque introduction is to illustrate how ML\/PA can truly streamline complicated and abstract processes and assist decision makers in insuring that the agreements they sign and the partners with which they contract meet all their requirements, and that nothing is lost in the \u201cfine print.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI remember thinking, this isn\u2019t about hardware. It\u2019s about information and connecting things.
